Hi. I’m Kim and I’ve just recently been released from a 27 year prison sentence (of sorts). I suffer from Depression. Not just your ordinary, garden-variety “I’m in a bad mood today” depression. No, I have the other depression. Clinical Depression.

I’ve started this blog for two reasons; first, one of the tools I use to continue in my recovery from depression is writing, or “journaling” as my therapists like to call it. Second, I figured if I “journaled” online, I may be able to help someone along the way.

That second part is my real reason for doing this online. I”m hoping I can help others do what I did. Travel from the deep, dark depths of major depression to the light of recovery.

I’m feeling pretty grateful these days. I’m one of the lucky ones that got help. I want to share what I continue to learn with others in the hopes that I can help them release themselves from their own depression prisons.

So, bookmark this site or subscribe to my feed and visit often. Let’s help each other through this.
